Vacation Bible School: "Rooted in God's Love"
Inspired by the "Parable of the Sower", we will explore God's love for Creation through gardening, composting, recycling and creating works of art! Children of all ages are welcome to participate in this week of learning and fun by registering on online. Teens and adults are invited to join our leadership team to nurture a "deep-rootedness" in God's love.

Collecting Donated Items
We will be collecting items for crafts and activities from now until VBS week. We will study the Parable of the Sower and do some hands on gardening, we will also focus on being good stewards by reducing, reusing and recycling. We would appreciate the following gently used items and similar items:
PAPER: paper grocery bags, paper rolls (from paper towels, TP, wraps etc.) all sizes, cardboard egg cartons (no styrofoam), newspaper, colored paper, crepe paper, tissue paper, old church bulletins, cardboard boxes.
PLASTIC: water bottles, plastic lids, caps or tops from any size containers. Plastic water jugs, or food containers that are CLEAN.
ALUMINUM: Pop cans – CLEANED & RINSED
OTHER: fabric scraps, yarn, string or rope scraps, ribbon, buttons, beads, etc.
NO GLASS
Please place items in the container labeled “VBS” outside the fireside room. Your items will be reused, repurposed, upcycled and or recycled during VBS!
You can come as a family and find ways to participate for each age group.
