Mission Statement

Committed to Christ, Diversity, and Mission

missionmppcPreparing people for a relationship with God, one another, and the community. Encountering the Word through scripture, worship and fellowship.

We live out our mission as we work and worship together each week as a multicultural, intergenerational community.

We have a garden that provides fresh produce to the local food pantry, and is tended by church members.garden

We host several sacred music concerts.

Some of the special mission projects we are involved with are Angel Tree, Feed My Starving Children, support of international ministries, support of Jones Center in Chicago Heights and support of the Maple/Morgan Park Food depository.

Most recently we partnered with other Mission Council 8 Churches to support the Dakota Mission transport and feed people! The total raised was $4534.92!

We have been chartered since 1891.
